For a number of months, Grant and I explored the idea of starting our own business. After a lot of research we decided that there is a market for products and services that are designed specifically for the LGBT parenting community. In 2006 we made the decision to take a leap of faith and start our business. We call it Pride Families, Inc.

It is our goal - our Mission - to not only serve the LGBT Community but also to draw talent and resources from our community to design, build, sell, market and spread the word about Pride Families and the Pride Family Flag.

The Pride Flag - the rainbow striped flag that represents the LGBT community - has stood as a symbol of the struggle and the hope of the LGBT community through bad times and through good times. The Pride Family Flag is a modification of the Pride Flag and we hope that it becomes the offical flag of the LGBT parenting community. The flag incorporates the 6 rainbow stripes and a stylized Heart & Home on the purple canton. If the saying is correct, HOME really is where the HEART is!
